In the Gospel of St. Mathew, the Evangelist immediately shows us the very essence of prayer. “And when they came into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshipped Him” (Mathew 2:11). The Wise Men expressed prayer perfectly. Let us copy the example of these Wise Men into our hearts so that “our lips may speak from the fullness of the heart” (Luke 6:45)
